Carousel Star Book

Add depth, literally and figuratively, to your next idea with this carousel book structure. These star-shaped books are great for showcasing scenes, poetry or a variety of other narratives into one collection. This workshop will go over the basic steps to creating this book along with tips for customizing your own work. 

All materials will be provided, but if you’d like to use your own papers, a supply list is available below. A limited set of extra tools will be available, but bringing your own toolkit is recommended.

 Materials:

Cover boards - heavy cardstock or thin cardboard (empty cereal or pop-tart boxes work great!)

6-10 sheets letter sized paper. 

12” strip of ribbon or thin yarn

 Tools:

Small Cutting Mat

Scissors or Exacto Knife

Ruler

Bone folder

Glue stick or double sided tape.
