A Room with Many Doors: Creative text and poetry as portals for memory and meaning

Experimental poet and conceptual book artist Nikki Fragala Barnes will facilitate this book arts workshop using found and original texts. Barnes will include sources for poems and lyrics to use as material in artist books as well as prompts and exercises for generating creative original lines to feature in your projects. We will draw on our personal and collective experiences and memories to soothe and disrupt.

You are invited to bring a work in progress or other scraps / papers and favorite pens/markers/paint pens.

Materials will be provided for use during the workshop.
